 about

Melissa Grace Klose is based in Los Angeles. While art is her main passion, she also teaches chemistry to support her creative goals. Having taken Studio Art & Art History in high school, she’s recently thrived in figure drawing workshops and has sought additional classes at the Otis College of Art & Design. There, she formed a relationship with Linda Jacobson who soon became her primary mentor. She continuously produces artwork, striving to add an impressive range of styles to her portfolio. She feels her purpose in art is to illuminate beauty in spots that would otherwise be overlooked and pursue others to find their own ideal means of artistic expression.

Melissa’s travels have taken her as far as Israel, Thailand, Morocco, Ecuador and Italy, among other places. Along with the varying locales, she’s also been inspired by her family, friends and several unique occurrences in her life. She has immersed herself in the works of the masters in order to build a foundation for future projects. She welcomes anyone who appreciates art to frequent her website, and is able to create custom prints such as posters and greeting cards upon request. For pricing and other information, please do not hesitate to send a message.

"Don't think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art."
